Ikaleah oversees all phases of Fincy’s development, ensuring the project stays on schedule and meets its educational goals. She coordinates tasks across all departments, from planning to final delivery, defining milestones, managing resources, and facilitating communication between team members. Ikaleah ensures that Fincy aligns with the app’s mission and that all components—visuals, code, and content—work together seamlessly.
KIRKPATRICK
GARRETT PEÑA
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Kirkpatrick is responsible for writing the code that brings Fincy to life. He develops the core mechanics for the visual novel and mini-games, implementing gameplay elements such as financial scenarios, interactive decision-making, and feedback systems. Kirkpatrick also ensures the app is optimized for mobile devices, providing a smooth and reliable experience for young users. Additionally, he works closely with Aubrey to integrate design elements and make sure the app functions as intended.
AUBREY KATE DEL VALLE
UI/UX DEVELOPER
Aubrey focuses on crafting an intuitive and engaging interface for Fincy. She designs the layout, buttons, menus, and visual cues that guide students through both the main story and mini-games. Aubrey ensures the interface is simple, visually appealing, and age-appropriate. She works closely with Kirkpatrick to implement interactive elements that make learning about money management fun and immersive, and she conducts user testing to ensure a positive experience for junior high students.
JOHN ANTHONY CAUSING
TECHNICAL WRITER/ANIMATOR
Anthony contributes both content and engaging visuals to Fincy. As the Technical Writer, he crafts clear, age-appropriate narratives and instructions, making complex financial concepts accessible to young users. He also develops in-game prompts and feedback to guide users. As the Animator, Anthony brings characters, stories, and mini-game elements to life with animations that engage and entertain students, aligning the visuals with Fincy’s educational goals. His storytelling and visuals reinforce the app’s purpose, creating an enjoyable and educational experience for students.
